Kalandula Falls

One of Africa's largest waterfalls by volume, on the Lucala River.

Kalandula Falls — Quedas de Kalandula, known until 1975 as the Duque de Bragança Falls — drop 105 metres across a horseshoe crest some 400 metres wide, on the Lucala River in the municipality of Calandula. It is one of the largest waterfalls in Africa by volume and sits roughly 360 km inland from Luanda.
