Tundavala & Serra da Leba
A 1,200-metre escarpment gap on the edge of the Huíla Plateau.
The Fenda da Tundavala is a canyon on the escarpment of the Serra da Leba near Lubango, marking the western limit of the Humpata Plateau. The rim exceeds 2,200 metres while the plain below sits around 1,000 metres lower. The viewpoint, roughly 18 km from Lubango, overlooks some 10,000 km² towards Moçâmedes. In 2012 the Angolan government designated the gap a cultural landscape, and it is counted among the Seven Natural Wonders of Angola.
